For my final project, I’m using photoshop to remix an image into a different meaning. Since I’m not totally familiar with photoshop, I thought I would do my tutorial on a basic skill that I’ll be using which is cutouts.

1. Open up Photoshop and open with the image that you want to cut out.
2. Next, you want to go to Layer, the New, and then press Background From Layer.
3. Next, you want to take the Quick Selection Tool and select the inside of the image that you want cut out.
4. Then, you want to go to Layer, then New, and then press Layer via Cut.
5. Finally, go to the bottom right corner and drag the image that says Layer 0 to the garbage can. This leaves you with the image you want cut out.

Then depending how sharp you want your edges to be, that can be altered as needed!
