For my project proposal I have come up with the idea to make my video follow the life of a bunch of different under sea creatures onto some land creatures and back to undersea creatures. The video starts out zooming in on a herring coming into the water from on land. Then it cuts to a bunch of white birds swimming. Then they go under water and the video pans to fish just swimming around. Then then it goes into a coral reef. Then it goes to another fish eating a smaller fish. From there another fish that looks the same is eaten by a shark. Then the shark breaches and eats a seal. After the seal is eaten the video goes to a pod of dolphins jumping out of the water. Then the video goes from the dolphins to a killer whale. The killer whale goes and eats a penguin. I’m not exactly sure where it goes for a little while after that. But eventually a penguin goes in the water and sees a fish. The fish gets away though. Then it goes back onto fish. As the video goes the fish get bigger and bigger and scarier. At a point it is going to be obvious they are in another part of the ocean. The ocean goes to a river where an alligator or a crocodile mulls some kind of animal, then eats it. Then there is another video of an alligator or crocodile swimming away off into the distance. After that happens the video ends zooming in on an aye aye whose eyes get bigger and bigger as the video goes on. I liked this ending because it is almost like the aye aye is scared about what is happening in the eco system. He is afraid he is going to be next. I also thought he was really cute too so I want him to be a part of my video anyways.

I think this will be a very visually cool video that you’re going to make! I like the idea behind the scarcity of the ecosystem but one suggestion would be to expand on that just a little more throughout the video, or in your reflection piece on your project at the least.
I love nature videos, and I would like to see this. I think that the best part of this is going to be the continuity between the scenes, but it will also be one of the hardest things to pull off. A great way to do that might be with scene transitions of some sort that fade or cross-cut between the different clips to give a sense of continuance. Great idea!
